About

After 33 years in the commercial real estate business, Jack B. Richlen founded Commercial Brokerage Specialists (“CBS”) in 1997. The premise for founding the company was a perceived need in the market place for a higher degree of personal service for clients seeking integrity and follow through with their real estate needs. The geographical focus of the company was to serve Western Washington along the I-5 corridor from Canada to Oregon, with a special emphasis on the Greater Seattle market place.

The company came to the market place with a rich and varied background of real estate experience in investment, sales, leasing and real estate development. This expertise spanned all different areas within the commercial real estate industry.

In 2000 Harry Rubin brought his wealth of knowledge and background to the company from the real estate trust department of a major bank. In 2005 Kevin Slattery brought his enthusiasm and experience in property management to the company. The addition of these two individuals continued a pattern of client services and has enabled the company to better serve all of its clients. The company has a policy of all principals participating in all transactions in order to ensure the highest level of service to the needs of all clients. This successful formula will continue as long as the company exists.
